How it Started

I was always a confident, outgoing person. I loved wearing beautiful clothes, handbags, and jewelry. I took pride in who I was and how I presented myself to the world. Unfortunately life started to beat me down. I began to experience things that beat me and my confidence down. On the outside I appeared to be such a confident person, but on the inside I had so much negative self talk. I had someone tell me that I hide behind my clothes and that tore me up inside. I decided that I wanted to feel good on the inside as well as the outside.

That's why I made a conscious decision to never let anyone tell me my story. Yes, I struggle with confidence! Yes, I sometimes have to be reminded that I am strong, smart, and uniquely made. All of these things are a part of me, and I am unapologetically me! This is how The Prissy Type was born. It was created to encourage you to embrace your flaws and all while understanding that confidence is a way of life. Every time you wear one of my products, I want you to feel a boost of confidence.
